What's up with this "Jace Allen?"

Well, it all started in 2020 when Jason wanted to release an album, (Taking Sides, on all streaming services). The idea was to put out an album that reflected a few of the genres that he likes to work in.  

As luck would have it, there were already two other "Jason Mendelsons" out there and there was a big chance of confusion. 

So Jason took a high-school nickname, his middle name, and suddenly his alter-ego was created.  

When Jason plays out or releases music, he does under the Jace Allen brand.

Jace has shared the stage with notable names such as Akie Bermiss (Lake Street Dive), Aloe Blacc, Brad Hargraves (Third Eye Blind), Judith Hill, Dave Immerman (Avril Lavigne), JUNO the Artist (Bruno Mars), Michael Kang (The String Cheese Incident), Ryan Hope (Gabriels), Anders Osborn, Divinity ROXX (Beyonce), Matt Sorum, Greg Spero (Halsey), Zoli Teglas (Pennywise), Payge Turner, Scott Foster Harris (L.A. Guns), Dave Watts (The Motet), and Brent Woods (Sebastian Bach). He has also collaborated with artists on specific song releases and music videos to raise awareness around non-profit organizations such as Breakthrough, Stand Together, New Story, 1K Project for Ukraine, Partners for Justice and Clean Slate Initiative.
